Our White Oak Dimensional Lumber is cut to exact sizes lists. These pieces are NOT nominal widths. These pieces are S4S machined milled (surfaced on all 4 sides cut to width and length).

White Oak wood is hard and heavy. It’s almost waterproof and has exceptional resistance to wear. The wood plans, turns, bores, sands, stains and polishes well.

White Oak has heartwood that can vary in colour from light tan to dark brown. Colouring can also be a yellowish brown. The texture is medium to coarse with open straight grain. The sapwood is white to light brown.
