Our Poplar Dimensional Lumber is cut to exact sizes lists. These pieces are NOT nominal widths. These pieces are S4S machined milled (surfaced on all 4 sides cut to width and length).

Poplar has sapwood that is wide and creamy white. The heartwood can be olive green to brown or a light yellow. Sometimes the lumber contains streaks of black, purple or dark green.
Poplar Dimensional Lumber
Poplar has straight grain with a fine even texture. It is easy to work is all ways making it great for turning and carving. Its cost effective that making it choice for painting but also looks great stained.
